Last weekend I go to cinema near my neighborhood. Its the second times going to watching movie since 4 years ago, and I like to see the new comer "Fantastic 4" movie. After I buy a ticket, then find some refreshment at the corner cafe, times to go inside and find my chair - G12. I try to make myself comfort.
Then, come in a lot of famil's entourage, mom - dad - children goes to their seat and some of them sit behind of my seat. Here we come, the movie play on. At the first, i can enjoying the scene, but about 15 minutes after the children behind me getting boring and make a move. At the begining they try to ask their parents, but the parents didn't respond, only the word "ssshhh" came out from their lips. The children more uncomfort and kick my seatback periodictly. Uurgghh ... hate it. Then I turn my head to warn them, but they still playing with their arm, and their little feet. Wooww, the parents just be quiet and didn't warn their children. Half of the movie pass, the children begin to talk each other and make their own story between them (about 3-4 children). That's make me so curious.
Finally the movie finished, and I get hurry to go out first, find the movie's banner and find the age limit for this movie. Ahaa ... R13 that's mean that this movie affordable for 13th ages up. Then why the parents invite their children under 13th ages to see this movie? I didn't get it. With under our National Education, mostly our children cannot speak and hear english fluently except the people with english for mother tongue or have an english course since "babies". That children behind my seat cannot understand the conversation in all movie played. Cause that they making their own story.
This movie kind a different taste of ussualy heroic movie, you cannot see many of heroic action in this scenes. For 99 minutes, maybe only 5-10% give an action, the rest was a deep conversation.
I just try to think wisely for this peoples, yes we know that the people need refresh their mind like me through the movie, but in the growth years, children brain still need more development and cannot understand about the adult conversation, cause their vocabulary still under-limits.
My advice for the parents, Please wisely to choose the right movie for your children even for cartoon movies. Not all movies that look for kids its affordable for your children.
Love your children in the appropriate way.
